In a pivotal Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the New England Patriots with a final score of 24-14, solidifying their standing in the conference and showcasing their offensive prowess. This victory not only boosts their momentum but also sends a message to the rest of the league about their competitive edge. Trevor Lawrence led the charge for Jacksonville, throwing for 251 yards and two touchdowns, proving to be a key factor in the Jaguars' offensive strategy. His connection with Dont'e Thornton Jr. was particularly effective, as Thornton amassed 95 receiving yards, making critical catches to keep drives alive. Meanwhile, Bhayshul Tuten added a solid ground game with 48 rushing yards, providing balance to the Jaguars' attack. Defensively, the Jaguars made their presence felt, with Travon Walker recording two sacks and Jourdan Lewis grabbing an interception, both pivotal in stifling New England's efforts. The turning point came when Lewis intercepted a pass in the second half, allowing Jacksonville to extend their lead and ultimately secure the win. The Patriots struggled to respond, and the Jaguars' defensive plays not only halted their progress but shifted the momentum firmly in favor of Jacksonville.
