In a commanding display to kick off the 2026 season, the Baltimore Ravens topped the Indianapolis Colts 21-0, marking a strong start for the Ravens in Week 1. With playoff aspirations on the line, this shutout victory sets the tone for Baltimore's campaign, demonstrating their defensive prowess and offensive efficiency. Lamar Jackson was the star of the night, throwing for 158 yards and two touchdowns while also contributing 20 rushing yards. He connected with Tyreek Hill, who led all receivers with 111 yards, showcasing a lethal combination that kept the Colts' defense on their heels. Jackson's dual-threat ability proved crucial in maintaining offensive momentum throughout the game. Defensively, the Ravens were relentless, with Trey Hendrickson recording three sacks and Kyle Hamilton grabbing two interceptions, stifling any chance of a Colts comeback. The turning point came early in the second half when Hamilton's second interception set up another scoring drive for Baltimore, solidifying their dominance and leaving Indianapolis unable to respond effectively. The Ravens' defense not only secured the shutout but also set a formidable precedent for the rest of the season.
