The Minnesota Vikings narrowly defeated the Seattle Seahawks 31-26 in a thrilling Week 12 matchup that had playoff implications for both teams. With this victory, the Vikings solidified their position in the postseason race while the Seahawks fought to keep their hopes alive. Sam Darnold led the Seahawks offensively, throwing for 245 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to move the ball effectively. On the ground, Demond Claiborne was the standout for Minnesota, rushing for 86 yards and providing critical momentum. Meanwhile, Cooper Kupp was a key target for Darnold, racking up 108 receiving yards and keeping Seattle competitive throughout the game. Defensively, Dallas Turner emerged as a force for the Vikings, recording two sacks that disrupted Darnold's rhythm and forced critical mistakes. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Turner’s second sack led to a fumble, allowing Minnesota to regain control and secure the win. Junior Seau was a bright spot for Seattle with eight total tackles, but it was not enough to overcome the Vikings' defensive pressure.
