In a commanding performance, the San Francisco 49ers topped the New Orleans Saints 30-6 in the Divisional Round of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the 49ers showcased their dominance, advancing deeper into the postseason while the Saints' season came to a disappointing end. Brock Purdy was the star of the game, throwing for 339 yards and three touchdowns, highlighting his ability to lead the offense effectively. Mike Evans was a reliable target, racking up 133 receiving yards, while Trey Benson contributed on the ground with 64 rushing yards. Together, they propelled San Francisco to a decisive victory. Defensively, the 49ers were equally impressive, with Nick Bosa leading the charge with 1.5 sacks and Shavon Revel Jr. snagging an interception that shifted momentum in the second half. The turning point came when Revel's pick halted a potential Saints scoring drive, allowing San Francisco to extend their lead and ultimately secure the win. Beanie Bishop Jr. tallied nine tackles for the Saints, but it wasn't enough to overcome the relentless pressure from the 49ers' defense.
