In a high-octane showdown, the New Orleans Saints outlasted the Cleveland Browns with a commanding 70-47 victory in Week 9 of the 2026 season. The win not only solidifies the Saints' position in the playoff race but also showcases their explosive offensive capabilities against a formidable opponent. Tyler Shough was the star of the night, throwing for an impressive 522 yards and five touchdowns, orchestrating a relentless aerial attack. He found his favorite target, Bryce Lance, who racked up 199 receiving yards, consistently breaking free from the Browns' coverage for big plays. Meanwhile, Quinshon Judkins was a standout for Cleveland, rushing for 256 yards, but his efforts fell short in the high-scoring contest. Defensively, the Saints made their mark with key contributions from Martin Emerson Jr., who led the team with six total tackles. Chase Young added pressure with two sacks, disrupting the Browns' offensive rhythm. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Kool-Aid McKinstry's interception shifted momentum back to New Orleans, paving the way for a decisive scoring drive that put the game out of reach.
