In a tightly contested matchup, the Dallas Cowboys held off the Arizona Cardinals with a final score of 24-20, securing their spot in the playoff race as they head into the second half of the season. The stakes were high for both teams, with playoff aspirations hanging in the balance. Dak Prescott shone for the Cowboys, throwing for two touchdowns and showcasing his ability to lead under pressure. Arizona's Justin Fields matched the intensity with 212 passing yards, but it was Tyler Allgeier's 72 rushing yards and Trey McBride's 81 receiving yards that kept the Cardinals competitive throughout the game. Defensively, the Cowboys were led by Caleb Downs, who recorded eight total tackles, playing a pivotal role in limiting Arizona's scoring opportunities. The defining moment came late in the fourth quarter when Dallas's defense stiffened, forcing a critical turnover that ultimately sealed the game. Despite strong performances from Arizona's Josh Sweat, who registered two sacks, it was not enough to turn the tide in their favor.
