In a commanding display, the Houston Texans topped the Dallas Cowboys 59-27 in Week 4 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position as a formidable force in the league. The Texans' offense was firing on all cylinders, while the Cowboys struggled to keep pace in what turned into a lopsided affair. C.J. Stroud led the charge for Houston, throwing for four touchdowns and showcasing his growing command of the offense. Meanwhile, David Montgomery dominated on the ground with a staggering 171 rushing yards, proving nearly impossible to stop. Kayshon Boutte emerged as Stroud's favorite target, racking up 112 receiving yards, making significant contributions at critical moments of the game. Defensively, the Texans were equally impressive, with Will Anderson Jr. wreaking havoc on the Cowboys' offensive line, recording 2.5 sacks. Henry To'oTo'o anchored the defense with five total tackles, while Kamari Ramsey's interception thwarted a potential scoring drive, helping to solidify Houston's control. The turning point came early in the second half when a defensive stop led to a quick touchdown, shifting momentum firmly in the Texans' favor.
