In a hard-fought battle in Week 3 of the 2026 season, the Washington Commanders topped the Seattle Seahawks with a final score of 20-10. With both teams looking to gain momentum early in the season, the Commanders' victory reinforces their position as a contender in the NFC. Jayden Daniels led the charge for Washington, throwing for 156 yards while showcasing poise in the pocket. Running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt contributed with 48 rushing yards, and Stefon Diggs was a reliable target, racking up 59 receiving yards. The balanced offensive attack proved too much for the Seahawks' defense to handle. On the defensive side, the Commanders made key plays that shifted the momentum. Trey Amos' interception was a pivotal moment, halting a Seahawks drive and allowing Washington to extend their lead. While DeMarcus Lawrence recorded 1.5 sacks for Seattle, it wasn't enough to overcome the Commanders' disciplined defensive performance, which stifled Seattle's scoring opportunities throughout the game.
