The Las Vegas Raiders topped the New England Patriots 35-14 in a decisive Week 5 matchup of the 2026 season. With this victory, the Raiders not only solidified their position in the playoff race but also sent a clear message about their offensive capabilities. Kirk Cousins led the way for Las Vegas, delivering a sharp performance with 155 passing yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to capitalize on key opportunities. Meanwhile, Dont'e Thornton Jr. emerged as a reliable target, racking up 73 receiving yards to keep the chains moving. Despite being held to just 93 rushing yards, TreVeyon Henderson of the Patriots put up a commendable effort on the ground. Defensively, the Raiders made critical plays that shifted the momentum, highlighted by Jeremy Chinn's interception, which thwarted a potential scoring drive for New England. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Las Vegas scored back-to-back touchdowns, leaving the Patriots trailing by two scores at halftime. New England struggled to recover, ultimately falling short as the Raiders' defense applied consistent pressure and limited their offensive production throughout the game.
