The Cleveland Browns secured a commanding victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a final score of 34-12 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. With this win, the Browns continue to establish themselves as a formidable force early in the season, while the Buccaneers face challenges in their quest for consistency. Cleveland's offense was powered by the stellar performance of quarterback Taylen Green, who threw for five touchdowns and added 75 rushing yards to his impressive stat line. His connection with the receivers was evident, as the Browns effectively moved the ball downfield. Despite Baker Mayfield's 245 passing yards for the Buccaneers, the offensive output was not enough to keep pace with Cleveland's dynamic attack. Defensively, the Browns made significant contributions that helped tilt the game in their favor. Maliek Collins led the charge with 1.5 sacks, consistently pressuring Mayfield and disrupting the Tampa Bay offense. The game's turning point came when Jailin Walker intercepted a key pass, setting up another touchdown for Cleveland and solidifying their control of the contest.
