In a thrilling season opener, the Baltimore Ravens narrowly defeated the Indianapolis Colts 24-21, setting the tone for an exciting 2026 campaign. Both teams showcased their talent and determination, but it was the Ravens who emerged victorious in this tightly contested matchup. Lamar Jackson proved to be a dynamic force on the ground, racking up 112 rushing yards, while Daniel Jones of the Colts shined through the air, throwing for 199 yards and two touchdowns. Keenan Allen also made his mark, leading all receivers with 104 yards, creating significant mismatches for the Ravens' secondary throughout the game. Defensively, Baltimore's Trey Hendrickson made his presence felt with a key sack, but it was the Colts' Charvarius Ward Sr. who turned heads with an interception that kept the game within reach. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when the Ravens' defense managed to stymie a crucial Colts drive, allowing just enough cushion for Jackson and the offense to seal the victory.
