In a tightly contested matchup, the Houston Texans narrowly defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 10-6 in Week 6 of the 2026 season. The stakes were high for both teams as they aimed to secure a pivotal win in their respective playoff pushes. C.J. Stroud led the Texans' offense with a solid performance, throwing for 229 yards and connecting with Marvin Harrison Jr., who tallied 90 receiving yards. Despite the Jaguars' defensive efforts, the Texans managed to find just enough offensive rhythm to secure the victory. Bhayshul Tuten was a bright spot for Jacksonville, rushing for 68 yards, but the Jaguars struggled to capitalize on their opportunities. Defensively, the Jaguars put up a strong fight, with Caleb Ransaw leading the way with seven total tackles and DaVon Hamilton notching two sacks. However, the Texans' defense stepped up when it mattered most, limiting the Jaguars' scoring chances and forcing critical turnovers. The game turned in favor of Houston when their defense held firm late in the fourth quarter, denying Jacksonville a chance to take the lead as time dwindled.
