In a decisive Week 4 matchup, the Washington Commanders topped the Dallas Cowboys with a final score of 28-14, solidifying their position in the early part of the 2029 season. Both teams were looking to gain momentum, but the Commanders delivered a powerful performance, showcasing their offensive and defensive prowess. Jayden Daniels was the star of the night for Washington, throwing for three touchdowns and leading his team to victory. Cam Ward put up impressive numbers for the Cowboys with 286 passing yards, while Rashod Bateman stood out with 109 receiving yards. Javonte Williams contributed on the ground with 44 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Commanders’ offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Commanders made their mark with a dominant performance, highlighted by Sonny Styles' ten total tackles and Trey Amos' two interceptions, which proved pivotal in stifling any comeback attempts from Dallas. The turning point came in the second quarter when Amos picked off a pass, setting up a quick touchdown that shifted the momentum firmly in Washington's favor. Quinnen Williams added pressure on the Cowboys, recording a sack, but it was the Commanders' ability to create turnovers that ultimately sealed the game.
