In a thrilling Week 12 showdown, the New England Patriots held off the New York Jets, securing a 24-20 victory that keeps their playoff hopes alive. With the stakes high in the AFC East, both teams fought hard, but it was the Patriots who emerged victorious in a tightly contested battle. Drake Maye was the standout performer for New England, tossing three touchdown passes to lead the offense effectively. Colin Kaepernick matched him in yardage, throwing for an impressive 360 yards for the Jets, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Patriots' timely scoring. LaMichael Torrence contributed with a solid ground game, adding 56 rushing yards that helped keep the chains moving. Defensively, the Patriots made key plays that shifted momentum in their favor. Chuck Teague led the way with 10 total tackles, consistently shutting down the Jets’ attempts to establish the run. The game’s turning point came when Xavier Meredith intercepted a crucial Kaepernick pass late in the fourth quarter, sealing the win and securing the Patriots' grip on the game.
