In a tightly contested Week 18 matchup, the Houston Texans narrowly defeated the Indianapolis Colts with a final score of 21-17. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Texans who ultimately secured the victory, closing out their regular season on a high note. C.J. Stroud led the Texans' offense with an impressive 209 passing yards, while Curtis Sheldon added a significant contribution on the ground with 80 rushing yards. The Colts' Ramon Harris kept pace with two touchdown passes, connecting well with his receivers, but ultimately it wasn't enough to claim the win. Kareem Greenfield topped the Colts' receiving corps with 68 yards, but Houston's balanced offensive attack proved crucial. Defensively, the game swung in favor of the Texans, thanks in part to Norman Winter's key interception that halted a Colts drive and shifted momentum. Although Dwight Freeney of the Colts recorded 1.5 sacks, the Texans' defense held strong when it mattered most, limiting the Colts' scoring opportunities and sealing their victory in the closing moments of the game.
