The Atlanta Falcons triumphed over the Minnesota Vikings with a commanding 38-17 victory in Week 12 of the 2026 season. This win solidifies the Falcons' playoff positioning, showcasing their offensive prowess against a struggling Vikings team. Leading the charge for Atlanta was quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who threw for two touchdowns, while running back Bijan Robinson dominated on the ground with 109 rushing yards. Minnesota's Kyler Murray put up impressive numbers with 283 passing yards, but it was the Falcons' balanced attack that ultimately made the difference. Defensively, Gervon Dexter Sr. shone for Atlanta, recording two sacks that disrupted Minnesota's offensive rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when Dexter's pressure led to a critical turnover, allowing the Falcons to capitalize and extend their lead. Harrison Smith's eight tackles highlighted Minnesota's defensive efforts, but it wasn't enough to contain Atlanta's offensive onslaught.
