In a decisive Week 11 clash, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Houston Texans with a commanding score of 40-21, solidifying their standing in the playoff race. The Colts showcased their offensive prowess against a Texans team that struggled to keep pace, making this victory a pivotal moment in the 2026 season. Quarterback Daniel Jones led the charge for Indianapolis, throwing for 284 yards and contributing to the offensive explosion with his precise passing. Keenan Allen emerged as his favorite target, racking up 97 receiving yards, while C.J. Stroud of the Texans put up a valiant effort with three touchdown passes, though it wasn’t enough to change the outcome. Jonathan Taylor struggled on the ground, managing just 41 rushing yards, but the Colts’ aerial attack was more than sufficient to seal the win. Defensively, the Colts were disruptive, with DeForest Buckner shining through with 1.5 sacks, putting pressure on Stroud throughout the game. Although Azeez Al-Shaair led the Texans with eight total tackles, the turning point came in the second quarter when a critical interception by Derek Stingley Jr. failed to spark a comeback, allowing the Colts to maintain control and ultimately secure the victory. The Colts' defense played a key role, creating opportunities that the offense capitalized on, ensuring a comfortable win in Houston.
