In a dominating performance, the Seattle Seahawks topped the Arizona Cardinals 44-7 in Week 9 of the 2026 season. The Seahawks aimed to solidify their playoff positioning, and they did so emphatically against their division rivals, showcasing their firepower on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Sam Darnold was the standout performer, amassing 379 passing yards and throwing for three touchdowns. He was well-supported by Jadarian Price, who racked up 133 rushing yards, and Garrett Wilson, who torched the secondary for 195 receiving yards. The offensive showcase highlighted the Seahawks' versatility and efficiency, leaving the Cardinals struggling to keep pace. Defensively, the Seahawks were relentless, with DeMarcus Lawrence leading the charge with 1.5 sacks, disrupting the Cardinals' offensive flow. The turning point came in the second quarter when Seattle's defense forced a critical turnover, allowing Darnold and the offense to capitalize and build a commanding lead. Ultimately, the Seahawks' balanced attack and stout defense proved too much for Arizona to handle.
