In a high-octane showdown, the San Francisco 49ers triumphed over the Las Vegas Raiders with a final score of 53-32 in Week 9 of the 2026 season. The victory not only solidifies the 49ers' playoff ambitions but also serves as a statement against a formidable Raiders offense. Fernando Mendoza had a standout performance for the Raiders, throwing for an impressive 442 yards and five touchdowns. Despite the loss, his connection with Tre Tucker, who racked up 157 receiving yards, kept the Raiders competitive throughout the game. However, it was Christian McCaffrey's incredible 332 rushing yards that truly stole the show for the 49ers, demonstrating his dominance on the ground. Defensively, the 49ers stepped up when it mattered most, with Renardo Green snagging an interception that shifted the momentum in the second half. Marques Sigle led the defense with five total tackles, consistently making plays to stifle the Raiders’ drives. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Green's interception set up a crucial touchdown, allowing San Francisco to pull away and secure the win.
