In a decisive matchup in Week 9 of the 2026 season, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Dallas Cowboys with a final score of 26-14. The victory keeps the Colts firmly in the playoff hunt, while the Cowboys will need to regroup as they face tough competition ahead. Daniel Jones was the standout performer for Indianapolis, throwing for 298 yards and leading his team with precision. Jonathan Taylor contributed with a solid ground game, rushing for 71 yards, while Keenan Allen made his mark in the air, accumulating 75 receiving yards. Dak Prescott managed just one touchdown pass, falling short of matching Jones' production. Defensively, the Colts were formidable, with Laiatu Latu recording 1.5 sacks and Sauce Gardner intercepting a pass, which shifted momentum in favor of Indianapolis. The game's turning point came in the second half when Gardner's interception halted a Dallas drive, allowing the Colts to extend their lead and ultimately secure the win. Jalen Thompson's eight tackles for Dallas showcased their defensive efforts, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Colts' balanced attack.
