In a tightly contested matchup, the New Orleans Saints narrowly defeated the Baltimore Ravens with a final score of 7-0, marking a significant early-season victory in Week 2 of the 2026 season. Both teams entered the game looking to establish momentum, but it was the Saints who emerged victorious in this defensive showcase. Tyler Shough led the Saints' offense with a solid performance, throwing for 203 yards, while Travis Etienne Jr. contributed effectively on the ground, rushing for 63 yards. Jordyn Tyson was the standout receiver, racking up 81 yards to help move the chains and keep drives alive, ultimately leading to the lone touchdown of the game. Defensively, the Saints were the stars of the show, with Pete Werner leading the team with six total tackles, ensuring that the Ravens struggled to find any rhythm. The turning point came late in the first half when the Ravens were stopped on a critical fourth down, allowing the Saints to take control and secure the victory. Despite a strong effort from the Ravens' defense, including two sacks from Trey Hendrickson and an interception by Jaylinn Hawkins, they couldn't find a way to score, sealing their fate in this low-scoring affair.
