The Green Bay Packers secured a crucial victory over the Houston Texans, winning 27-19 in Week 17 of the 2026 season. This win not only boosts the Packers' playoff hopes but also complicates the Texans' quest for postseason positioning as the regular season draws to a close. Quarterback Jordan Love led the Packers' offense with an impressive performance, throwing for 270 yards and a touchdown. Running back Josh Jacobs contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 87 rushing yards, while wide receiver Jayden Reed emerged as a standout target, amassing 123 receiving yards. This offensive trio proved too much for the Texans to handle. Defensively, the Packers made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. John Franklin-Myers registered a sack that stalled a Texans drive, while Azeez Al-Shaair of Houston notched nine tackles but couldn't prevent the Packers from capitalizing on their opportunities. Green Bay's ability to force critical stops and maintain pressure ultimately marked the turning point in a tightly contested matchup.
