In a decisive Week 17 showdown, the New England Patriots topped the Denver Broncos with a final score of 33-14, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season draws to a close. With both teams vying for momentum entering the postseason, the Patriots showcased their dominance on home turf. Drake Maye was the star of the night for New England, throwing for five touchdown passes and leading the offense with precision. Sincere Brown was a key target, racking up 115 receiving yards, while RJ Harvey led the Broncos on the ground with 75 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the explosive Patriots' offense. Bo Nix put up solid numbers with 266 passing yards, yet he struggled to find the end zone. Defensively, the Patriots made significant contributions that changed the game’s dynamics. Robert Spillane recorded seven total tackles, anchoring a defense that stifled the Broncos' offensive efforts. The turning point came when Carlton Davis III intercepted a pass, halting a potential scoring drive and shifting momentum firmly in New England's favor, allowing the Patriots to pull away decisively in the second half.
