The New York Jets secured a decisive victory over the Dallas Cowboys with a final score of 38-17 in Week 3 of the 2027 season. This win not only boosts the Jets' confidence but also solidifies their position early in the playoff race, showcasing their offensive prowess against a formidable opponent. Javier Magana shone brightly for the Jets, throwing for 258 yards and an impressive five touchdowns, leading the charge in the air. His ability to connect with receivers opened up the field, while the Jets' offense consistently found ways to exploit the Cowboys' secondary. On the other side, Jaydon Blue rushed for 96 yards for Dallas, and George Pickens contributed with 101 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with New York’s explosive attack. Defensively, the Jets made key plays to shift momentum, particularly with David Bailey's two sacks that disrupted the Cowboys' rhythm. Although Malik Hooker led the Cowboys with seven tackles, the Jets' ability to apply pressure and create turnovers proved critical in this matchup. The turning point came when Magana threw his third touchdown, pushing the lead to three scores and leaving the Cowboys scrambling to respond.
