In a dominant display, the Chicago Bears topped the Detroit Lions 52-17 in Week 12 of the 2026 season. The victory not only solidified the Bears' playoff aspirations but also showcased their offensive prowess against a division rival. Caleb Williams was nothing short of spectacular, throwing for 317 yards and an incredible seven touchdown passes, leading the charge for Chicago's offense. His favorite target, Zavion Thomas, racked up 115 receiving yards, proving to be a reliable option throughout the game. Together, they dismantled the Lions' secondary, contributing significantly to the Bears' impressive point total. On the defensive side, while the Lions struggled to contain the Bears' offense, Jack Campbell led the team with six total tackles, providing a glimmer of resistance. However, the game shifted when Williams connected for a series of quick touchdowns in the first half, leaving Detroit scrambling to respond. Aidan Hutchinson managed to record half a sack, but the Bears' relentless attack ultimately overwhelmed the Lions, sealing the outcome well before the final whistle.
