The Kansas City Chiefs topped the Cincinnati Bengals 37-21 in the Wildcard Round of the 2026 season, advancing to the next stage of the playoffs. This victory not only secured their place in the postseason but also showcased their dominance against a formidable opponent in Cincinnati. Chiefs receiver Xavier Worthy was the standout performer, racking up an impressive 145 receiving yards that fueled Kansas City's offensive attack. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes effectively orchestrated the offense, with standout performances from the entire unit, ensuring a balanced approach that kept the Bengals’ defense on their heels. Despite the Bengals' Joe Burrow throwing for 239 yards and two touchdowns, it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Chiefs' high-powered offense. Defensively, Kansas City made critical plays that shifted momentum in their favor. Kaiir Elam led the charge with three tackles, while Dallas Turner added a crucial sack that halted a potential scoring drive for Cincinnati. The turning point came in the second quarter when Mory Bamba's interception thwarted a Bengals rally, allowing the Chiefs to extend their lead and secure the win.
