The Chicago Bears topped the Washington Commanders 40-28 in a thrilling Divisional Round matchup, advancing to the next stage of the playoffs in the 2026 season. With both teams vying for playoff supremacy, the Bears delivered a strong performance on their home turf, showcasing their offensive prowess. Jayden Daniels shone for the Commanders, throwing for 313 yards and four touchdowns in a valiant effort. However, it was Dylan Sampson's steady ground game, churning out 68 rushing yards, that helped the Bears maintain control. Antonio Williams also contributed significantly for Washington, racking up 103 receiving yards, but ultimately, it wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, Jaylon Johnson stood out for Chicago, leading the team with nine total tackles and snagging an interception that proved crucial.
