In a pivotal Week 10 matchup, the Washington Commanders emerged victorious over the New York Giants with a commanding score of 28-7. This win solidifies the Commanders' position in the playoff race, while the Giants struggle to find their footing as the season progresses. Washington's offense was led by quarterback Jayden Daniels, who threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with receivers under pressure. Terry McLaurin was a standout target, racking up an impressive 139 receiving yards, providing Daniels with a reliable option downfield. Meanwhile, the Giants' Cam Skattebo contributed with 68 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Commanders. Defensively, the Commanders made their presence felt, highlighted by Mike Sainristil's interception, which shifted momentum firmly in their favor. Nick Cross led the team with two tackles, but it was the collective effort that stifled the Giants' offensive rhythm. The turning point came when Sainristil picked off a pass in the second quarter, leading to a quick touchdown that put Washington ahead for good and ultimately sealed the game.
