The Seattle Seahawks held off the Arizona Cardinals in a thrilling Week 9 matchup, securing a 46-39 victory. With playoff implications on the line, both teams entered the game looking to solidify their standings, but it was the Seahawks who ultimately triumphed in a high-scoring affair. Carson Beck of the Cardinals put on a stellar performance, throwing for 425 yards and four touchdowns, displaying pinpoint accuracy and a knack for finding his receivers. However, it was Trey Benson's ground game that electrified the Seahawks, as he rushed for 128 yards, consistently breaking tackles and keeping the Cardinals' defense on its heels. Michael Wilson also shined for Arizona, racking up 153 receiving yards, but his efforts weren't enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Seahawks made crucial plays that turned the tide in their favor. Art Green led the charge with seven total tackles, and Byron Murphy II was a force in the backfield, registering two sacks. Nick Emmanwori's timely interception proved to be the game's turning point, halting a potential scoring drive for the Cardinals and allowing Seattle to maintain their momentum as they outlasted their divisional rivals.
