In a closely contested matchup, the Tennessee Titans topped the Houston Texans 24-14 in Week 5 of the 2026 season. The win keeps the Titans firmly in the playoff hunt while the Texans look to regroup after a tough loss. C.J. Stroud led the Texans' passing attack with 135 yards and two touchdown passes, showcasing his ability to make plays under pressure. Despite the defeat, Marvin Harrison Jr. emerged as a standout receiver, racking up 75 yards, providing a reliable target for Stroud throughout the game. Meanwhile, Tony Pollard carried the load for the Titans with 66 rushing yards, contributing significantly to their offensive success. The Titans' defense played a crucial role in sealing the victory, with Jeffery Simmons recording two sacks that disrupted Stroud’s rhythm. The turning point came midway through the fourth quarter when Simmons’ second sack forced a fumble, allowing the Titans to regain possession and maintain control of the game. Jalen Ramsey's two interceptions for the Texans were notable, but it was the Titans' defensive pressure that ultimately decided the outcome.
