In a tightly contested Week 4 matchup, the San Francisco 49ers held off the Denver Broncos with an 18-13 victory. Both teams fought for critical positioning in the early part of the season, but it was the 49ers who came out on top, securing valuable momentum as they look to establish themselves in the playoff race. Brock Purdy led the 49ers with a solid passing performance, totaling 159 yards through the air, while Christian McCaffrey was the star on the ground, racking up 101 rushing yards. Despite a strong showing from the Broncos’ Jaylen Waddle, who caught for 74 yards, San Francisco's balanced offensive attack proved decisive in the end. Defensively, the 49ers made their mark with Nick Bosa's impressive 1.5 sacks and Deommodore Lenoir's crucial interception, which shifted the momentum in their favor. The turning point came late in the game when Lenoir picked off a pass, helping San Francisco maintain their narrow lead and secure the win, showcasing their resilience and defensive prowess.
