In a tightly contested Week 1 matchup, the Cleveland Browns held off the Arizona Cardinals with a final score of 16-10. Both teams were looking to kick off the season with a victory, but it was the Browns who secured an important win on their home turf. Cleveland's offense was led by Shedeur Sanders, who threw for a touchdown and managed the game effectively. Raleek Brown was a key contributor on the ground, rushing for 86 yards, while the Cardinals' Carson Beck kept his team competitive with 258 passing yards and a strong connection with Reggie Virgil, who racked up 84 receiving yards. Defensively, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was a standout for the Browns, recording 1.5 sacks that disrupted the Cardinals' offensive rhythm. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Owusu-Koramoah's pressure forced a critical turnover, allowing Cleveland to maintain their lead and ultimately seal the victory. Will Johnson of the Cardinals tallied nine total tackles, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Browns' defensive efforts.
