In a closely contested matchup, the Buffalo Bills narrowly defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 17-14 in Week 3 of the 2027 season. With playoff aspirations on the line early in the season, both teams fought hard for the crucial win, but it was the Bills who came out on top. Leading the charge for Buffalo was Ray Davis, who dominated on the ground with 119 rushing yards, while quarterback Josh Allen contributed significantly with 180 passing yards. Trevor Lawrence kept the Jaguars competitive, throwing for two touchdown passes, but ultimately it wasn't enough to secure the victory for Jacksonville. Khalil Shakir also made his presence felt, racking up 84 receiving yards to support the Bills' offensive efforts. Defensively, the Jaguars showcased their prowess with Jarrian Jones leading the way with nine total tackles, but it was the Bills' ability to contain key plays that made the difference. The turning point came late in the game when Buffalo's defense stiffened, preventing a potential game-tying drive from the Jaguars. With a balanced offensive attack and a timely defensive stand, the Bills secured their victory.
