In a closely contested matchup, the Philadelphia Eagles narrowly defeated the New York Jets with a final score of 17-13 in Week 3 of the 2027 season. Both teams entered the game looking to gain momentum early in the season, but it was the Eagles who emerged victorious, improving their record as they push for playoff positioning. Cade Klubnik led the Jets' offense with 176 passing yards, but it was Breece Hall's explosive running, racking up 75 rushing yards, that kept the Jets competitive throughout the game. On the other side, DeVonta Smith was the standout for Philadelphia, catching for 80 yards and providing crucial plays when they needed them most to secure the win. Defensively, Zack Baun was a dominant force for the Eagles, recording 8 total tackles and an impressive 2.5 sacks, disrupting the Jets' offensive rhythm. L'Jarius Sneed's interception proved to be a critical turning point, halting a potential scoring drive for New York and allowing Philadelphia to maintain their lead and ultimately hold off the Jets for the victory.
