The Pittsburgh Steelers delivered a commanding performance, defeating the Cleveland Browns 62-26 in a Week 5 showdown of the 2027 season. This victory solidifies the Steelers' position as a formidable contender, while the Browns face challenges as they seek to regain their footing in the league. Joe Milton was exceptional for Pittsburgh, throwing for four touchdown passes, while Gavin Sawchuk complemented the aerial attack with a dominant 120 rushing yards. KJ Duff stood out as a receiving threat, amassing an impressive 158 yards, showcasing the Steelers' offensive versatility and firepower throughout the game. Cleveland's Shedeur Sanders put up 272 passing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Pittsburgh's explosive offense. Defensively, the Steelers were anchored by DeShon Elliott, who led the team with eight total tackles, helping to stifle the Browns' attempts to mount a comeback. The turning point came midway through the second quarter when Pittsburgh scored two quick touchdowns, creating an insurmountable lead. Despite Myles Murphy's two sacks for the Browns, the Steelers' relentless offense proved too much, leaving Cleveland to regroup for future matchups.
