In a decisive Week 17 matchup, the Seattle Seahawks topped the Carolina Panthers with a convincing 47-22 victory, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season comes to a close. With both teams fighting for momentum, the Seahawks showcased their offensive prowess, leaving the Panthers reeling from a powerful performance. Quarterback Sam Darnold was exceptional for Seattle, throwing for 317 yards and three touchdowns, while Cooper Kupp was a standout receiver, racking up 173 yards on the day. Zach Charbonnet contributed on the ground with 72 rushing yards, helping to maintain a balanced offense that kept the Panthers' defense on its heels throughout the contest. Defensively, the Seahawks made their mark with a dominant performance, led by Derick Hall, who recorded 2.5 sacks and disrupted the Panthers' rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when Seattle's Julian Love intercepted a pass, setting up another scoring drive that widened the gap and ultimately sealed the win for the Seahawks. Carolina struggled to recover from that momentum shift, as Seattle's defense continued to apply pressure and stifle their offensive efforts.
