In a decisive Week 14 matchup, the Minnesota Vikings dominated the New England Patriots with a final score of 49-21. With playoff implications on the line, the Vikings showcased their offensive prowess, securing a vital victory that keeps their postseason hopes alive. Leading the charge for Minnesota was quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who threw for an impressive 359 yards and five touchdowns, demonstrating pinpoint accuracy and poise under pressure. His top target, Justin Jefferson, made significant contributions with 126 receiving yards, proving to be a constant threat. Despite the loss, New England’s TreVeyon Henderson shined on the ground with 134 rushing yards, but it was not enough to keep pace with the Vikings' explosive offense. Defensively, Minnesota made critical stops throughout the game, highlighted by James Pierre’s six tackles and Caleb Banks' two sacks, which disrupted the Patriots' rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when Byron Murphy Jr. intercepted a pass, shifting momentum firmly in the Vikings' favor. This combination of offensive firepower and defensive resilience paved the way for a convincing victory in New England.
