The Washington Commanders topped the Arizona Cardinals 27-13 in a decisive Week 12 matchup that solidified their playoff positioning. With both teams vying for crucial late-season momentum, Washington's performance showcased their readiness for the postseason. Leading the charge was quarterback Jayden Daniels, who threw for 308 yards and a touchdown, effectively managing the game from the pocket. Chigoziem Okonkwo was a standout in the receiving game, racking up 102 yards and providing a reliable target for Daniels. Meanwhile, Jacory Croskey-Merritt contributed on the ground with 56 rushing yards, helping to keep the Cardinals' defense on their heels. Defensively, the Cardinals struggled to contain Washington's offensive attack, and while Garrett Williams made nine total tackles, it wasn't enough to shift the momentum. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Daniels connected with Okonkwo for a pivotal long gain, setting up an important touchdown that put the Commanders ahead for good. Jordan Burch managed to record a sack for Arizona, but the defense overall was unable to make the necessary stops to swing the game in their favor.
