In a decisive Week 11 matchup, the Minnesota Vikings topped the San Francisco 49ers with a commanding final score of 31-13. This victory was crucial for the Vikings as they continue to solidify their playoff position in the competitive landscape of the 2026 season. Quarterback J.J. McCarthy was the standout performer for Minnesota, throwing for 254 yards and connecting on four touchdown passes, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Meanwhile, Christian McCaffrey led the ground game for San Francisco with 83 rushing yards, but the 49ers struggled to find the end zone consistently. De'Zhaun Stribling was notable in the passing game, racking up 114 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Vikings' high-flying attack. Defensively, the Vikings made a significant impact on the game, with Andrew Van Ginkel wreaking havoc on the 49ers' offensive line, recording 2.5 sacks. Blake Cashman also stood out with a team-high eight tackles, ensuring that San Francisco's offensive efforts were often thwarted. The game's turning point came early in the second half when Harrison Smith's interception shifted momentum firmly in Minnesota's favor, allowing them to extend their lead and control the game thereafter.
