The New Orleans Saints cruised to a dominant 38-6 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the NFC South. With both teams vying for playoff positioning, the Saints showcased their offensive prowess and defensive strength, turning this matchup into a statement win. Tyler Shough led the charge for New Orleans, throwing for 319 yards and two touchdowns, effectively spreading the ball around and keeping the Falcons' defense on their heels. Oscar Delp emerged as his primary target, racking up 100 receiving yards while the ground game was balanced by a strong effort from the Saints' backs, making it difficult for Atlanta to find any rhythm. Defensively, the Saints were relentless, with Decamerion Richardson leading the charge with five total tackles. Chase Young added to the pressure with a sack, while Justin Reid’s interception further stifled any hopes of a Falcons comeback. The turning point came early in the second half when Reid's interception set up a quick score, effectively sealing the game and allowing the Saints to control the pace from there.
