In a thrilling Week 2 showdown, the Pittsburgh Steelers narrowly defeated the New England Patriots with a final score of 35-28, showcasing their resilience and offensive firepower. This victory not only boosts the Steelers' morale but also sets the tone for the remainder of the season as both teams look to solidify their playoff aspirations. Pittsburgh's Drew Allar was the star of the night, throwing four touchdown passes that kept the Patriots' defense guessing. Meanwhile, TreVeyon Henderson shined for New England, accumulating 115 rushing yards and 94 receiving yards, proving to be a dual threat. However, it was Allar's pinpoint accuracy and timely throws that ultimately made the difference in this tightly contested match. Defensively, the Steelers made a significant impact, with Cam Heyward leading the charge by recording four sacks, disrupting New England's offensive rhythm. The game turned in the second half when Heyward's relentless pressure led to a crucial turnover, allowing Pittsburgh to capitalize with a touchdown that sealed the victory. While both defenses had their moments, it was Pittsburgh's ability to create havoc in the backfield that propelled them to success.
