In a pivotal Week 3 matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the New England Patriots with a final score of 30-20, solidifying their strong position early in the season. With both teams looking to establish momentum, this contest proved crucial for playoff aspirations as the Jaguars continue to build on their impressive start. Drake Maye led the Patriots' offense, throwing for 262 yards and one touchdown, but it was A.J. Brown who shined brightest with 131 receiving yards, showcasing his ability to stretch the field. TreVeyon Henderson contributed on the ground with 38 rushing yards, yet the New England offense struggled to find the end zone consistently, limiting their scoring opportunities against a determined Jaguars defense. Defensively, the Jaguars made key plays that shifted the game's momentum. Jourdan Lewis anchored the unit with eight total tackles, while Josh Hines-Allen disrupted the Patriots' rhythm with two sacks. The Jaguars' ability to pressure Maye and force him into difficult situations proved to be a turning point, allowing Jacksonville to maintain control and ultimately secure the victory.
