In a thrilling Week 4 matchup, the New York Giants held off the Buffalo Bills with a final score of 33-27. Both teams entered the game looking to solidify their position early in the season, but it was the Giants who emerged victorious in a tightly contested battle. Jaxson Dart led the Giants' offense with a solid performance, throwing for 269 yards, while Josh Allen countered with three touchdown passes for the Bills. However, it was Cam Skattebo's explosive running, racking up 139 rushing yards, that truly set the tone for New York’s offense. Malik Nabers also made a significant impact, catching passes for 133 yards, helping to keep the chains moving in crucial situations. Defensively, Abdul Carter was a standout for the Giants, recording three sacks that disrupted Buffalo's offensive rhythm and put pressure on Allen throughout the game. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Carter's third sack led to a crucial turnover, allowing the Giants to regain possession and ultimately seal their victory. Despite Maxwell Hairston’s ten tackles for the Bills, New York's defensive push proved decisive in this hard-fought win.
