In a dominating performance, the Denver Broncos topped the Chicago Bears 38-7 in Week 5 of the 2027 season. With this victory, the Broncos solidified their status as a playoff contender while the Bears are left searching for answers as they struggle to find their rhythm this season. Bo Nix was the standout for Denver, throwing for 299 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his precision and command on the field. RJ Harvey added a powerful ground game with 101 rushing yards, while Courtland Sutton was a reliable target, racking up 104 receiving yards. Together, they formed a potent offensive unit that kept the Bears on their heels all game long. Defensively, the Broncos were just as impressive, with Malcolm Roach recording a sack and Talanoa Hufanga snagging an interception to halt any momentum from the Bears. The game’s turning point came early in the second half when Hufanga's interception led to a quick touchdown drive, extending Denver's lead to 24-0 and effectively sealing the game. The Bears struggled to recover from that momentum shift, unable to respond to the relentless attack from the Broncos.
