In a commanding performance, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped the Tennessee Titans 52-7 in Week 5 of the 2027 season. The Buccaneers came into the game looking to solidify their playoff position, and they did just that with a dominant showing at home. Baker Mayfield was the standout star for Tampa Bay, throwing for an impressive 401 yards and four touchdowns. He connected frequently with Chris Godwin Jr., who racked up an astonishing 267 receiving yards, showcasing a potent aerial attack. Bucky Irving contributed on the ground as well, adding 71 rushing yards to the mix, ensuring the Buccaneers' offense was firing on all cylinders throughout the contest. Defensively, the Buccaneers were effective in stifling the Titans' attempts to mount a comeback, led by Zyon McCollum, who intercepted a pass and contributed to the overall pressure on Tennessee's offense. Despite Oluwafemi Oladejo's two sacks for the Titans, the turning point came early in the second quarter when Mayfield connected with Godwin for a deep touchdown, effectively putting the game out of reach and demonstrating Tampa Bay's dominance on both sides of the ball.
