In a commanding performance, the New England Patriots defeated the Dallas Cowboys 38-20 in Week 7 of the 2027 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Patriots solidified their position as a contender, showcasing their offensive firepower against a formidable opponent. Drake Maye led the charge for New England, throwing for five touchdowns and proving to be an unstoppable force in the passing game. TreVeyon Henderson complemented the aerial assault with a strong ground game, racking up 100 rushing yards, while CeeDee Lamb of the Cowboys kept the pressure on with 162 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to tilt the outcome. New England's defense played a pivotal role in the victory, particularly through the efforts of Carlton Davis III, who snagged three interceptions, disrupting Dallas's rhythm. Chris Cole also made his presence felt with two sacks, helping to stifle Dak Prescott, who still managed to throw for 398 yards but could not convert that yardage into enough points. The Patriots’ defensive stands were crucial in the game's turning point, maintaining momentum and ultimately sealing the win.
