In a hard-fought battle, the Dallas Cowboys narrowly defeated the Minnesota Vikings 17-14, securing their position in the playoff race during Week 6 of the 2028 season. The stakes were high for both teams, as each sought to establish momentum heading into midseason. Dak Prescott was the standout performer for the Cowboys, throwing for an impressive 299 yards while leading his team to victory. Joe Milton of the Vikings also had a strong showing with two touchdown passes, but it was Ryan Coleman-William's 87 receiving yards that helped keep the Cowboys' offense clicking and ultimately proved crucial to their success. Defensively, both teams made their mark, but the Vikings' Andrew Van Ginkel shone with two sacks, applying consistent pressure on Prescott. However, it was Dallas's ability to force key turnovers at pivotal moments that turned the tide. The game's turning point came in the fourth quarter when the Cowboys' defense stifled a late drive from the Vikings, allowing Dallas to hold on for the win.
