The San Francisco 49ers narrowly defeated the Miami Dolphins 29-22 in a tightly contested Week 7 matchup of the 2028 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought fiercely for a crucial victory, but it was the 49ers who emerged victorious on the road. Dante Moore showcased his skills with an impressive performance, throwing for 228 yards and two touchdowns, while Christian McCaffrey dominated on the ground, racking up 151 rushing yards. Mike Evans was a key target for Moore, finishing the game with 152 receiving yards, creating mismatches against the Dolphins' secondary and helping to keep the 49ers' offense in rhythm throughout the game. Defensively, the 49ers were able to apply consistent pressure and contain the Dolphins' offensive threats. Fred Warner led the charge with seven total tackles, ensuring Miami struggled to establish their ground game effectively. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when a critical stop by the 49ers' defense thwarted a potential game-tying drive, solidifying their grip on the game and sealing the win.
