In a thrilling Week 2 matchup of the 2028 season, the Tennessee Titans outlasted the Minnesota Vikings with a final score of 31-21. This victory was crucial for the Titans as they looked to establish momentum early in the season, while the Vikings aimed to bounce back from a disappointing opener. Tennessee's Cam Ward was the standout performer, throwing for an impressive 340 yards and leading the offense with precision. Mark Fletcher Jr. contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 89 rushing yards, while Wan'Dale Robinson made plays in the air, finishing with 103 receiving yards. The Titans' balanced attack was key in keeping the Vikings' defense on their heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Vikings struggled to contain the Titans' offensive rhythm, but Andrew Van Ginkel made his presence felt with two sacks. The game's turning point came in the second quarter when the Titans scored back-to-back touchdowns, giving them a lead they would not relinquish. Minnesota's Kam Curl led the defense with eight total tackles, but it was not enough to overcome the Titans' offensive firepower on this day.
