In a dominating display to kick off the 2027 season, the Indianapolis Colts blanked the Tennessee Titans with a final score of 39-0. The stakes were high for both teams as they sought to establish momentum early in the campaign, but the Colts proved too formidable, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive strength. Leading the charge for Indianapolis was DJ Lagway, who threw for 109 yards and two touchdowns, effectively managing the game from the quarterback position. However, it was Nate Frazier who truly stole the show, amassing a staggering 358 rushing yards while also contributing 69 receiving yards, making him a dual threat that the Titans could not contain. His performance was crucial in setting up scoring opportunities and maintaining the Colts' control throughout the game. Defensively, the Colts were relentless, with CJ Allen making a significant impact by recording three interceptions, which helped stifle any chance of a Titans comeback. JT Tuimoloau added to the Colts' defensive dominance with a sack, further pressuring the Titans' offense. The game's turning point came early when Indianapolis scored two quick touchdowns, forcing Tennessee to abandon their game plan and play catch-up, a task they were ultimately unable to accomplish.
